Any Change of Ownership of the vehicle must be communicated to the registering authority within 21 days after the change.
If you are changing your address, you will need the following:

South African citizens need a copy of their identity (ID) document.

Foreign citizens need the original and a certified copy of their ID, issued by their country of origin. You also need your temporary residence permit

Proof of residential address e.g. utility account

South African citizens must complete and submit form NCP only.

Foreign citizens must complete the NCP form and the Notice in respect of Traffic Register Number form (Form ANR).
If you are selling the vehicle:

The seller must complete the Change of Ownership ( NCO form) and submit it to their registering authority.
